I installed Fedora Core 6 on my laptop. NTFS-3G seems to work; i.e., I can write to my Windows XP partition from Linux. These truly are the end times.

Aha - I'm still using Fedora Core 4 on my WinXP/FC4 dual boot system, with the older NTFS compatibility (read, but not write; I installed that afterwards). Did NTFS-3G come pre-installed with FC6, or did you install it afterwards?
